How much is an IPTV subscription in Canada?

A one-device IPTV subscription from IPTV Nord costs $19 CAD for one month. Longer plans cost less per month: the 12 Months plan is $79, about $6.58 a month, which is 65% less than paying month by month. Adding screens raises the price, and you see the exact total before you pay.

There is no setup fee and no box to rent. The price on the plan card is the exact amount you send by e-Transfer, and it is the same whether you live in Surrey or St. John's. The only other cost is the home internet you already pay for. Not sure it is fast enough? The speed calculator in our IPTV installation guide answers that in a few seconds.

What every IPTV Nord plan includes

Every plan includes the same channels, the same on-demand library and the same support. A 1-month customer and a 12-month customer see exactly the same list: Canadian sports and news in English and French, local channels for major cities, US networks, kids channels and international channels in more than 20 languages.

The TV guide (EPG) shows what is on now and next, and catch-up lets you replay recent shows on channels that support it. That helps out west, where evening games from the East can start before you get home from work.

Your login arrives by email and in Live Chat. Most people use an Xtream Codes login (username, password and server URL) in an app like TiviMate or IPTV Smarters Pro. We can also send an M3U playlist link, or a portal address for MAG boxes.

Install on as many devices as you like

Put the app on the living room TV, the bedroom TV, your phone and the laptop. Only the screens playing at the same moment count toward your plan.

What happens if one more screen starts

If you have 2 devices and a third screen tries to play, that screen shows a connection message until one of the others stops. Nothing else is affected.

Bigger homes pay less per screen

With 5 devices on the 12 Months plan, each screen costs about $4.65 a month. The more screens you share, the lower the cost per screen.

How to pay for IPTV by Interac e-Transfer

You pay for your IPTV subscription by Interac e-Transfer, from your own bank's app or website. The checkout gives you the recipient email, the exact amount in CAD and an order number. You send the transfer with the order number in the message, and we activate your login.

Interac e-Transfer accepted for IPTV Nord subscriptions

Why we only take Interac e-Transfer

No card details ever go through our site, there is no foreign exchange fee, and nobody can charge you again without your say. It is also why nothing renews on its own: every payment is one you send yourself.

Good to know before you send

  • Your bank may show the recipient as ITLOGY LLC, the company that handles payments for IPTV Nord.
  • If your bank asks you to set a security question, send us the answer in Live Chat with your order number.
  • Most Canadian banks and credit unions offer e-Transfer in online and mobile banking. Some accounts charge a small fee per transfer, so check with your bank. Interac explains the basics in its guide on how to send money with Interac e-Transfer.
  1. Choose your plan and screens

Tap a plan button on this page. At checkout, confirm the plan, the number of devices, your channel package, and whether you are new or extending.

  2. Add your contact details

Enter your name, email and phone number. We use them to send your login and match your payment. No card number is asked for.

  3. Copy the payment details

The next screen shows the recipient email, the exact amount and your order number, each with a Copy button so there are no typos.

  4. Send the e-Transfer

In your bank app, choose Interac e-Transfer, add the recipient, enter the exact amount and paste your order number in the message. Then tap I've Sent the Payment at checkout.

  5. Get your login

Most orders are active within 15 to 30 minutes during support hours: 7 days a week, 9 a.m. to midnight (Eastern Time). Your login arrives by email and in Live Chat.

How to renew, extend or upgrade your IPTV subscription

You renew by placing a new order and choosing Extend subscription at checkout. We add the new time to the login you already have, so your apps, favourites and settings stay exactly as they are.

Extend before your plan ends

Extend a few days before the end date to avoid a gap during a game. Add your current username in the box at checkout if you have it; it helps us find your account faster. You can extend with any plan length, not only the one you had before.

Add more screens

When you extend, choose the higher number of devices and we upgrade the same account. Need an extra screen before your plan ends, for example when family comes to stay? Message us in Live Chat and we will explain your options and the price.

Stop at any time

There is nothing to cancel, because we never bill you automatically. If you do not renew, your login stops at the end of the plan. To change an order before activation, see our order cancellation page.

IPTV packages

Channel packages: Full Channels or English Channels Only

Every IPTV subscription comes with a choice of two channel packages at the same price. You pick one at checkout.

Full Channels

Everything: Canadian, French, sports, international, movies and series.

English Channels Only

A shorter English-only list that is quicker to browse.

Cost vs cable

IPTV subscription vs cable TV: what does a year cost?

A year of IPTV Nord on one screen costs $79 CAD. Cable and satellite packages in Canada often cost $70 a month or more once sports channels are added, which is about $840 a year before box rental.

Yearly TV cost for one Canadian home (CAD, before tax)
OptionWhat you getAbout per year
IPTV Nord, 12 Months, 1 device25,000+ live channels, 120,000+ on demand, TV guide$79
IPTV Nord, 12 Months, 3 devicesThe same, on three screens at once$179
Entry-level basic cableLocal and required Canadian channels only, often plus box rentalUp to $300
Cable or satellite with sportsA bigger package, a rented box and often a contract$840 or more

Since 2016, CRTC rules have required large TV providers to offer an entry-level basic package for $25 a month or less (see the CRTC's Let's Talk TV policy). It is cheap, but it only includes a small set of channels, and sports usually cost extra.

To be fair to cable, it does not depend on your internet and keeps working during an internet outage. If your connection is slow or has a small data cap, cable or satellite may suit you better. For most homes on a cable or fibre internet plan, IPTV saves several hundred dollars a year. See how we compare in our guide to the best IPTV in Canada.

FAQ

IPTV subscription questions

Straight answers about prices, devices, payment and renewal.

How much does an IPTV subscription cost in Canada?

An IPTV Nord subscription costs $19 for 1 month, $29 for 3 months, $49 for 6 months or $79 for 12 months on one device, in Canadian dollars. The 12 Months plan works out to about $6.58 a month. Extra screens raise the price, as shown in the device table on this page. You pay once by Interac e-Transfer, with no setup fee and no box to rent.

Can I use one IPTV subscription on two TVs?

Yes, if you choose 2 devices or more when you order. The device count is the number of screens that can watch at the same time, from 1 to 5. You can install the app on as many TVs, phones and tablets as you like. Only the screens playing at the same moment count toward your limit.

Does my IPTV subscription renew automatically?

No. We never store a card, so we cannot charge you again. When your plan is close to its end, you decide whether to extend it. If you do nothing, your login simply stops working when the time runs out. There is no contract, no cancellation fee and nothing to cancel.

Can I pay for IPTV with a credit card or PayPal?

No. IPTV Nord only accepts Interac e-Transfer, in Canadian dollars. It works from the online or mobile banking of most Canadian banks and credit unions, and no card number ever goes through our site. The checkout walks you through each step, and Live Chat can help if you have never sent an e-Transfer before.

How long does activation take after I pay?

Most subscriptions are active 15 to 30 minutes after your e-Transfer arrives, during support hours: 7 days a week, 9 a.m. to midnight (Eastern Time). Your login comes by email and in Live Chat. If you pay late at night, we activate your login first thing the next morning, and the time on your plan starts from activation.

What if IPTV does not work well in my home?

Tell us in Live Chat first. Most problems, like buffering on weak Wi-Fi or a wrong app setting, take a few minutes to fix. If the service still does not work for you, our 7-day refund policy applies. The easiest way to avoid a bad surprise is the free 24-hour trial before you buy.

What is the difference between Full Channels and English Channels Only?

Both channel packages cost the same. Full Channels includes everything: Canadian, French-language, sports, international, movies and series. English Channels Only is a shorter English list that is quicker to scroll with a remote. You pick one at checkout. Choose Full Channels if anyone at home watches in French or another language.

Ready to drop cable?

Start with the free 24-hour trial, or pick a plan now and pay by Interac e-Transfer. Most logins are active within 30 minutes during support hours.
